Can I form a US LLC from India without visiting the US?
Yes. Indian residents can legally own a US LLC. The whole process is online: no US visa, no SSN and no physical presence needed. We handle all the US-side paperwork.
Wyoming or Delaware: which state should I pick?
Wyoming suits most Indian founders: low annual fees, strong privacy and no state income tax. Delaware makes more sense if you plan to raise venture capital. We recommend a state for your situation on the free call.
How long does it take?
State filing usually takes 5 to 15 business days, depending on the state. The EIN follows. From order to EIN is typically 2 to 4 weeks, after which you can visit a bank.
Can I use Stripe after forming the LLC?
With a US LLC, an EIN and a US bank account you can apply to Stripe as a US business, which removes most of the limits Indian accounts face. Stripe makes the final decision, and we help you prepare the application so it is complete.
Can I open a real US bank account?
Yes, a business account at a traditional US bank. Most branch banks ask at least one owner to visit a branch in person, so it means a short US trip. What documents do I need?
Your passport, your chosen company name and your address in India. That is it for the LLC and EIN. We handle the state filing, registered agent and IRS paperwork.
Do I have to pay US tax?
A single-member LLC owned by a non-US resident is usually treated as a disregarded entity. With no US customers, staff or office, US income tax may be little or none, but annual IRS information filings can still apply. Speak to a cross-border tax adviser about your own case.
